Half Pints Learning Center was established in 2003 by Cathy Salvaggio. Cathy is the Director and owner of Half Pints with her Director 2 EEC certification. We opened our doors with only three classrooms and four students. We have since expanded to 2 infant rooms, 3 toddler rooms, 3 preschool rooms, and an indoor gym in a building that was designed by Cathy with the assistance of an architect. We offer an expansive fenced-in infant/toddler and preschool playground for children of each age group. Half Pints prepares each child for their following classroom and eventually for their journey to kindergarten with our comprehensive, structured curriculum. It is our goal to make learning fun while still challenging the child.
Learning and Development
This program has been developed to meet the needs of the growing community for quality, early childhood education between the ages of 8 weeks and 5 years of age. Our primary goal is to provide safe, interactive environments for children that will support their own growth and development. In addition, our daycare’s goal is to provide support for working families by accommodating the parent with competitive prices and a great schedule. We will try to work with the parents by providing services that will accommodate their needs. At Half Pints, we do not discriminate in providing services to children and their families on the basis of race, religion, cultural heritage, political beliefs, national origin, marital status, sexual orientation or disability. We are licensed by the Department of Early Education and Care and follow all of their regulations.
